VayCay Shennanigans

Every time I come back , It seems as if I have been gone for weeks. Maybe it's just me. So far it's been a pretty good day . Haven is on vacation which means we get to sleep in a little bit longer, which feels oh so good. I'm taking advantage of this time to potty train, man I forgot how difficult it was. I've encouraged Orion in every way , but his response was " I don't wanna go pee pee momma". The life of a mother, I get to learn new things everyday . As far as potty days go this is my second day , nothing yet, I mean yeah there was an accident earlier but as far as successes go non yet. I was looking for some mommy tips on potty training, and I stumbled across a website where a lady gave you the three day step to potty day success. The down fall was that I had to pay for it , I passed on it , sounds to good to be true. But I rather struggle then cough up money . For now I am sitting here keeping my eyes on him like a hawk .

Visits and Stops

This  past weekend  was nice. We city traveled  . Snapped some yard photos( I'm obsessed with gardens ) and  I took some street pictures on my phone  and well it was totally random . Since fixing our car things have come a bit easier and seem a little bit more free. It sucks having a car and not being able to travel with it until just several days ago. I've been doing some painting lately , I am so swarmed with school work , house duties and endless things that I figured well why not some Zen time besides yoga. I just ordered some new vinyl's and I can't wait to share them . Honestly , "I LOVE HIP HOP" runs deep in my veins. You know that dope feeling inside you get when you hear a beat or a lyric and you just vibe with it feeling oh so good. It's a magical feeling, and its just exactly how I feel. That's were my inspiration for painting comes . It's bootleg art with flare. I've come across some more incredible MCs  so I am just waiting on that . Other then that I've come across a lot of cool things on the street , and after seeing so much graffiti art out by Long Beach, I know that I got roll with my camera everywhere I explore. Well its just a bit of  this and that.

Waiting on Spring.......

The weather is a bit awkward today. There is just so much wind and  my plants are being swayed back and forth . I 've been looking forward to spring because of my mini backyard garden. It's a bit bootleg, but It works out great for me. The downside is that the flowers are all gone . I have no rose bush, lilies, or orchids growing back there. I am guessing it because of the lack of sunlight. I do get sun just not full on . The only times I get it is in the morning . It makes me sad because I wish I would have  flowers in my house . The wait is worth it, because if they bloom that means that I am doing my job as a gardener and if they don't , I'll be heartbroken( ill just have to deep research again) . I've bought soils, fertilizers, bug sprays , you name it. So all I am waiting for is spring . Given that I am a newbie when it comes to planting and maintaining flowers , it makes me nervous.

 We are spoiled here in California with all the sunshine, so why not garden. If Martha Stewart gardens in new York and it works for her then I am on the bloom ,zoom team with my garden .(Just  a thought)

 As I try to stay optimistic , I know that there can be hard parts to it. I am willing and I love plants. Mother nature gives us so much , it's just up to me to use what she gives us. *fingers crossed*

Hello !

                         After a while of wanting an Apple iPad, we finally got it the small version that is. WE shifted gears and made thee investment. It was costly but oh so worth it. We took it for a little test run. And these were the images the boys and us made . Today.

Wow! I have been so busy . And I am still wondering how? With school on my it list and second priority I'm thinking that maybe its time to get with the program.  I'm kidding but I am busy. I had so much work last night and I washed so much that at this point I'm ready to throw in the towel *swoosh*.
I babysat on top of that , it was fun because everything ran smoothly . I thought oh why not just sit and relax for a minute . But I am here spilling my day out into the wind (metaphor clearly) this here would be considered my wind. Talking about  the wind ,it was such a beautiful day , man the morning was perfect the mid day nice and warm and, now I can sit outside without worrying about the wind. I guess you can say that mother nature is spoiling us. *sighs*


Things have been looking up and thankfully each day seems easier then the last. Not saying that there aren't bumps along my days but I am trying to deal with them in an optimistic manner.

It's been sometime that I've actually written anything. Time flew when homework gets in the way and that can be such a bust. I will say this , even though my time is consumed by daily things I appreciate having this space of my own. I know that I can come in and wow the life out this place . As of know I am taking three online classes and a photography class that I am blown away over. Wow ! I always new that I loved photography but now I love it.  There has been so much learning and growing patience that I am Happy to see things come together. After all it's not like I am developing film on a daily basis , so maybe this excitement has really flourished into seriously thinking of getting my certificate in photography. That's what I 've been thinking lately. On another note I've been gardening. One of my rose bushes literally has died on me and I've struggling to survive it. Ill post photos later .
