It's a cloudy morning, ah ! but the outside breeze feels so good. It's been so darn hott I am wishing I lived up north where the sun hardly shines. I can't complain much because this is typical California weather right?
It's tell Tuesday y'all (kinda a southern accent intended, just a little bit).
Remember , my anniversary i talked about well this was my gift a panda, bamboo plant. I am in love with this plant. It's so Zen like, and the significance behind it is magical. I say that because of the three pandas. My boys are fascinated by it, but it's a tad heavy so they can't seem to ever pick it from the table. In the past years I have been given , flowers with a card and candy and a dinner. I mean all anniversaries have that special thing . But this one was a huge , accompanied by a thoughtful surprise, the idea that it took him a while to think of what kind of plant to get, seems so heart warming. Mind you my husband is kind of reserved, he's sweet but he's not the mushy type , so this was a big deal. Seems kind of silly , but it's the thought behind a gift that makes it that more special. I guess us Women are more sentimental about gifts then men are. (that's just what I think).
This present was followed by an amazing card and a tres leches cake that is to die for. Cake is cake , and I'll have it any time.
We bought candles and celebrated our 6th year anniversary tada.
In short , I just want to say I love you Alex and thank you for being my best friend through all. You sincerely make me so happy ...
