Early Wrap Up

Oh you know just having a little bit of an early morning. My kids are asleep , and I am currently thinking.
of what to eat?
it's been an awkward week if you ask me.
My anniversary was Friday , and guess what I forgot to take a billion plus pictures..
and to top It off my right ankle has been bugging me so much, and it's getting swollen. I thought that it might be this transformation, with the whole vegetarian experience. Guess what I stopped, i lack dedication, I did loose a couple pounds that's all that came out of it.It was fun I am not going to lie, it's nutritional, but I messed up along the way ,so my foot in some way is paying for it. Maybe eating to much salt or something, it's gradually disappearing since returning to my carnivore ways.
Lets see how long this swelling takes.
On another note; i don't know how or why but as I was flipping through the channels, i came across a documentary called "my brother the jihadist" i think that's how you spell it. It's about the Muslim community their beliefs , and how the view the world. It was difficult to watch on every level. There was burning of the flag, hate words coming out of their mouths, saying negative things about our god, it was intense. I thought Muslims believed in peace.spiritualism and other things along the line, or maybe they do but all in all ,i am mind blown by what I saw and maybe there are other sides to it. ( i am not gonna judge)

After watching that I flipped a couple channels, and saw an Interview with SHERMAN ALEXIE, he's an Indian poet writer. I  had never heard of him, it is until yesterday. This man speaks with so much heart and as he is being interviewed, his words are poetry in themselves. He talks about, capitalism, socialism, facebook and social media outlets, his life , the relationship with his father. How he cut his pony tail after his father died and would grow it back when he stopped grieving, it's been ten years and he still hasn't grown it back. One of the lines that stuck with me are" i don't have facebook friends, I have friends", this line translates what he thinks facebook has become for many people. There is so much to this interview, It's a must see.

it's been so long since I felt connected to an artist , i can't recall the last time I was. Till now, I think that we are blessed to have writers who write with inspiration and love. Who pour their souls out too us, in such a  magnificent way.  This interview was the highlight of my Sunday afternoon.
Thank you Sherman Alexie.
